Enter the dream world of Orestes Bouzon, an artist whose work is breathtakingly hypnotic. Stepping into a Bouzon exhibit is like being airdropped into an angel convention. The artist captures the essential femininity of woman and clothes her in the colors of the sea. Havana born Bouzon has a dramatic style that is both bold and vulnerable. A master in the use of light, a Bouzon work delights the senses and captures the imagination with hints of Picasso

A full time Miami resident, the art of Bouzon has become popular in the United States and throughout Latin America.

Angel Gonzalez, the famous carnicero of Bird Road, recently celebrated his 80th birthday on August 5. Family and friends gathered at Suniland Park in Pinecrest. Angel is retired now, but he showed everyone he hasn't lost his touch -- he roasted a pork leg to perfection! (So he remains a "leg up" on the competition!)
