Three Guys From Miami Celebrate Cuban

Coming Fall 2006

The Three Guys From Miami spent two weeks in January shooting pictures for our new cookbook, "Three Guys From Miami Celebrate Cuban." We prepared 54 individual dishes that will be featured in 50 full-color food photographs. There will also be 25 photographs of Miami and a few of the Three Guys to round out the package.

Our new book will be bigger and better than ever. Food stylist Harriet Granthen from Phoenix and photographer Marty Snortum from El Paso, Texas did a great job styling and photographing our dishes. We have some beautiful, mouth-watering pictures that will make everyone hungry for some great Cuban food!

"Three Guys From Miami Celebrate Cuban" is scheduled for release in Fall 2006. Keep up to date on our progress by checking out our new homepage each month.

The Red Bird Amoco is Now...
After many years as a landmark on Bird Road, the station that stands at the gateway to Coral Gables is changing gasoline brands, but not station ownership. Economic factors caused owner Enrique Finkelstein to make the switch from Amoco to Citgo. Although the gasoline is new, everything else at the station remains the same.

"We have made our reputation on our service business," Finkelstein says. "We have a large and always growing clientele of very satisfied customers who know they can count on us for reliable and honest automotive repair."

Red Bird Citgo is also known as a popular stop for many of Miami's rich and famous. It is not unusual to encounter a star or two at the gas pumps or bringing a vehicle in for service.

"You never know who might show up on any given day," says station manager Raúl Musibay. "Andy Garcia was kind enough to give me an autographed photo for my daughter. He is a real gentlemen and a nice guy."

The Three Guys From Miami will be making an appearance at the "Tour of Kitchens 2006," an annual event that benefits the Lighthouse of Pinellas. The tour is held each year and it's a great opportunity to see some of the beautiful homes in the North Pinellas County area and some great kitchens.

The Three Guys will be "host chefs" for one of the homes on the tour. We'll be preparing some Cuban dishes, offering samples, meeting the crowds, and selling copies of our book, "Three Guys From Miami Cook Cuban." All profits from the sale of the book will go to the Lighthouse of Pinellas charity.
